Plus d'infos/Meer info: Rank: Private. Serial Number: 31156360. Unit: 825th Tank Destroyer Battalion. Before enlisting he worked at a paper company and served in the National Guard. He enlisted on September 15, 1942, in Rutland, Vermont, and was assigned to Company A of the 825th Tank Destroyer Battalion before being sent to Oklahoma and Texas to train. He was killed by machine gun fire while trying to escape from his truck which had been struck by a German mortar. Cemetery: Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupré, Belgium, Tablets of the Missing.
