"La Muette de Portici" est l'opéra qui, en 1830, a déclenché la révolution belge. Tout a commencé le 25 août 1830 au Théâtre de la Monnaie, quand le ténor français Jean-François LAFEUILLADE a lancé un "Aux armes !" pendant le troisième acte de l’opéra.

"De Stomme van Portici" is de opera die in 1830 de Belgische revolutie ontketende. Het begon op 25 augustus 1830 in de Muntschouwburg, met de woorden "Aux armes!” van de Franse tenor Jean-François LAFEUILLADE
